We invited them, they said yes and didn’t disappoint! Hour one brims with heavy music of the cult-est kind carefully chosen by your friendly neighbors SATAN MADE ME DO IT. Hour two we welcome Carina Domingues and Daniel Pereira from crust punk/dbeat beasties Disthrone for a little chat and a lot of tunes – and not all of ze metal kind!
They just released their first EP, “Retaliação”, actually. So, make sure to support the band, will ya?
Bad boys, good boys… they all look the same with a belly full of bagaço.
Watch us descend into the unholiest ballrooms of evil after many-a-trips to Czech Republic, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Canada, Brazil… we took one hard pounding on this show and our heads are still spinning.
Good news though: you can get pounded yourself! Care to join us?
This show right here we’ll teach you to spit fire and that’s a mighty good ice breaker (ha!).
We had it all: Texan Blues, Satanic Hymns, THRASH and even a world exclusive. Satan sure doesn’t fuck around. Unless he feels like it of course. It’s a free country.
One half of SATAN MADE ME DO IT has his own project. It’s called HOOFMARK and it’s deeply rooted on the lo-fi, simple and yet exaggerated aesthetics of 84-87 hardcore infused underground metal, as well as on the often poignant narratives of traditional country music (yes!).
And guess what: this show saw SATAN MADE ME DO IT play HOOFMARK for the very first time EVER. It was very emotional.
A lot of things happened on this show. Most of them were real good. The rest was just plain breathtaking. Somebody bring the darn oxygen, goddammit!
Our residency in VOA festival was right around the corner there, so this show see us covering a bit of that, a bit of this, and whole lotta Portuguese metal from recent years. Ya see when somebody says somethin is a love letter to whatever? That’s what we do every time. Us and Linkin Park. We’re all that’s left.
You are not prepared. Shit, we weren’t either. The metal here hits an all time high in both viciousness and adorability. We go full cult, uncover pup metal, hit the streets and take out the thrash – it’s adorbs, really. There are covers aplenty, and supreme speediness. God saves the queen. Satan Made Me Do It handles the rest. All on Rádio Quântica.
Here’s one for the ages. Satan Made Me Do It is joined by most honorable guest Marek Steven of Live Evil festival and Amulet fame. Hour two is all his. Hope you all have a blast with Marek’s set. We surely did. There’s underplayed classic material, cult metal, old favorites – all essential tracks. Rádio Quântica was never this much metal.
