It’s not every day we see a new SATAN MADE ME DO IT show – it’s only once a month (ha!) and that makes it all the more special and especially distinct. Lo and behold this two-hour long episode, for ‘tis a small wonder of the world! And don’t get too comfortable with the inviting opener either, cause it’s only there to trap you under our ever-bolder bitter spell of blackened kaboom!
Highlights from Barroselas 2018, sonic fornication and a million great ways to be metal.
*ANTI-brutal death metal / slam / deathcore BRIGADE*
The nightmare continues, but don’t get any ideas: we most certainly DON’T want to wake up. In our dreams we traverse through elevations of twistedness on our way to godhood and hope to find the Great Kat shredding from the top of that special spike.
Music takes the pain away. And we at Satan Made Me Do It know just what you need – MORE TERRORS! In just two hours we visit the Americas, Europe and Oceania and the journey PAYS OFF IN THE END.
We have done it all and then some. It has been years, damn it! So for this month’s show we reminisce about old times the only way we know… WITH A VENGEANCE !! All the while, trying and successfully sabotaging the other’s selection. Make no mistake: you will have fun, friends. We are just concerned about ourselves here. Help?
It’s not often we fill a show with the less menacing and risky flavors of metal, but this is January – the beginning of what we hope will be a pretty good year. At any rate, it’s hard to imagine this one ranking lower than the last…
We wanted to set the mood for what’s to come with a set of songs that want you to move; not destroy. Indeed, that want you to throw your hands up in the air in unmatched enthusiasm. Make it a kind of rain dance too and wish for a fantastic 2018. We sure had fun doing this one. That’s SOMETHING!
If you absolutely have to bleed, do it in style. CROM!!
Stress just doesn’t get to us. This show happened mere days before our dj set at Santa Maria Summer Fest, in Beja, but we came prepared to deliver to goods on both fronts. On this episode, hour UNO kicked so much ass that it interfered with the very cables on the studio in Radio Quântica. Great new Mefisto track, Power Trip, Arkona, Cruel Force, just *UGH!*
It got so maddening there for a second that the damn equipment started frying our selection by the end of hour two… Sorry about that!
Metal will be the end of us and till the end we’ll proclaim: ‘tis but a scratch!
You are not prepared. Shit, we weren’t either. The metal here hits an all time high in both viciousness and adorability. We go full cult, uncover pup metal, hit the streets and take out the thrash – it’s adorbs, really. There are covers aplenty, and supreme speediness. God saves the queen. Satan Made Me Do It handles the rest. All on Rádio Quântica.
